RESERVATIONS

Sweet Ivy's Cafe is located at 209 S. Market St., in historic Downtown Brenham, TX. We're nestled in the back of The Southern Folly, our sister live event events venue - just enter through the side patio iron gate.

We call it Southern Comfort with the occasional detour abroad (we like and miss Thai food, it could appear on the weekly specials board, we're just saying). 

Our menu is made up of family recipes that we love and want to share. Some are likely familiar favorites, some we hope will become new favorites of yours too.

Yes, Sweet Ivy's Cafe has a beautiful patio and garden space. Outdoor games, fire pits (coming soon), and space for your kids or dogs to wiggle (just help us pick up after them and be respectful of others please!)  

Our Patio and Garden space stage is also where Sweet Ivy's Cafe hosts live entertainment on the weekends and special occasions. 

When we moved into our lovely building located on S. Market St., we added a small interior commercial kitchen. However, we knew we also wanted to serve BBQ so we went out and found us a beaut. Because there wasn't previously a BBQ smoker located on the premises, the health and fire inspectors had additional rules to keep us all safe, which we are happy to work with them on. Additionally, since our restaurant is in the Historic Preservation District for Downtown Brenham. the local HPO board have additional rules and regulations in addition to the health and fire rules.

So, short story, we're going to fire that smoker up soon. Long story, it's going to take a little bit longer (and no, we don't have a good guess either because there are a lot of moving parts but we hope it's as soon as possible too) for us to share Papa Bruce's famous slow smoked pork butt or Ivy's Famous Ribs. 

But we promise it'll be worth the wait.

Yes! The plan is to have live music and other entertainment Thursday through Saturday night. On Sundays, we'll be helping The Southern Folly host a classic movie night that we hope you'll stop by for.
